| Throughout your trip, you are likely to encounter numerous sharks and barracuda on the flats. Most are small, yet still fun to catch. For those looking for a little more "adventure" we offer shark fishing for Bull, Lemon and Blacktip sharks. These can be caught year round though the Winter months may slow the action. An average one can weigh around 60 to 80 pounds, while they can reach 200 pounds. Keep in mind, the water depth is only 6 to 8 feet deep! Conversly, the cooler months are the best time to pursue barracuda. In search of warmer water upon the flats, cuda can be typically sightfished as they lie motionless in pursuit of their prey. A fast slashing, topwater strike, makes for some very exciting action. |
